The Fundamental Unit of Analysis

My writing and thinking: In physics, the fundamental unit of analysis is not one unit, but seven independent base units of analysis:

  • Length = meter = m
  • Mass = kilogram = kg
  • Time = second = s
  • Electric current = ampere = A
  • Thermodynamic Temperature = Kelvin = K
  • Amount of substance = mole = mol
  • Luminous Intensity = Candela = cd
